Anantara allows guests to privately hire tropical island resorts

09 Jun 2020
Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas is offering resort-hire packages at its island destinations in Mozambique, the Maldives and the UAE.

The experience allows guests to take over Anantara beachfront resorts and have exclusive access to spas, restaurants and resort facilities with staff waiting on their every need. Each destination’s package differs and offers guests a range of leisure opportunities and activities bespoke to each resort, during their stay.

The offer has been developed in response to Coronavirus and provides guests with a private luxury travel experience which removes the risk of being exposed to the virus from other guests.

Resorts involved with the package include Anantara Medjumbe Island Resort in Mozambique, Sir Bani Yas Island by Anantara in the UAE as well as Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas and Anantara Dhigu Resort in the Maldives.

All resorts, except the Mozambique destination, will provide wellness offerings and allow guests access to Anantara spas featuring a range of customisable signature wellness experiences inspired by ancient Ayurvedic wellness traditions.

Anantara Kihavah will feature the widest range of wellness opportunities as it’s home to both an Anantara Spa and Cocoon Medi-spa, which will offer guests modern medical aesthetic, detox, or immunity-bolstering therapies.

The starting price to hire Anantara Medjumbe begins at US$19,820 per night (€17,455, £15,579), while for Anantara Kihavah it begins at US$95,000 per night (€83,665, £74,661) and to hire the Anantara Dhigu resort the package starts at US$100,000 per night (€88,069, £78,590).

Guests wanting to book out Sir Bani Yas Island in the UAE can choose from booking the entire island, including all three resorts from US$89,000 per night (€78,369, £69,924) or for an individual resort as follows:
  • Desert Islands Resort and Spa (64 rooms, suites and villas) – rates from US$40,000 per night (€35,222, £31,424)

  • Al Yamm Villa Resort (30 villas) – rates from US$25,000per night (£22,016, £19,640)

  • Al Sahel Villa Resort (30 villas) – rates from US$24,000 per night (€21,136, £18,856)

  • Camping: 20 guests minimum – rates from US$3,500 per night (€3,082, £2,750)

Following Coronavirus, all Anantara resorts are operating with the new Stay With Peace of Mind Hygiene programme which builds on its existing health and hygiene regulations. All resorts will also have a dedicated ‘Guest Guardian’ in each resort who’ll be responsible for internal inspections based on a series of rigid brand hygiene guidelines.
