Global Mentorship Initiative launches new app, widens programme’s reach

19 Oct 2016
The Global Mentorship Initiative – one of 16 initiatives that are part of the Global Wellness Institute – is launching a new online platform and expanding the reach of the programme to include a wider range of positions.

The programme will also operate on a rolling basis, so that whenever someone would like to become a mentor or to be mentored, they can simply use the app to find a match.

The mentorship programme is now opened to hotel general managers, spa directors, spa managers, assistant spa managers, lead spa receptionists, lead aestheticians, and lead therapists.

“No more limitations to spa managers or directors, no more pre-selection, no more imposed start and finish dates that made a lot of applicants wait for months – This is hop-on, hop-off mentoring, when it is needed the most,” said Jean-Guy de Gabriac, chair of the initiative and CEO of education and consulting firm Tip Touch International.

Within a few minutes on the new free app, mentors and mentees can evaluate their skills, fill in their profile with a short bio, attach their CV and add social accounts, and start looking for a possible match as mentor or mentee, according to up to three skills that they wish to work on.
